Here's the hard part for me: "But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof." Romans 13:14. Love God with all your heart...and all your mind. It's not "distraction" or "amusement" exactly, it's more like the activities we choose to attend and/or take part in ourselves.  The divertissement could be anything from taking in a film, going to a club, or sailing on a river. We seek God through others. We find God in others through:
prayer
service
mind exploration [especially including oral language conversation]
wants and needs exploration of "the body"; Members of a body of Christ. Romans 9-12
reading
watching tv
meditation
looking inside ourselves for the Holy Spirit and Christ
Seeing that light in others
Identify evil and abstain from all forms in consolation toward God.
