Used to ring true. I'd delete "must" or not agree with any of it. To me, Reverend King sets up the gem of the second sentence with a potentially faulty premise about war in the first, 1) political 2) ministerial. To me "must not wage war" is an oath I won't take.
No one is perfect.
Things happen. Oaths don't work well for my life.
