Dichotomy at UC Berkeley (used to be called "Cal"):

Now that I can "leave" on "vacation" I "can't" (or can I go to the wilderness on vaca?) Vacaville, where my fourth lover and my father ended up working or dying.
Should I go alone to Tahoe? Santa Barbara? Newport Beach definitely won't want me there. I am thinking again a'bout Kobe and Gianna Bryant, how it was really the end of the American Dream. #EastOfEden by John Steinbeck. The end of the spectrum is gold. Kobe and the Bryants, let's remember they may be golden family like Kennedy's.
