The Ukraine remains a territory of immense wealth concentrated in the hands of the mighty.
UKRAINIAN: What are you going to do about IT?
ME: "I" "T" or wealth distribution in Germany, the Ukraine and Russia? Gorbachev may have used Ukraine as a continual dripping deal of uncertainty since Reagan turned him down on the SDI shutdown showdown. There was something the President of Russia was holding back: Keeping the peace, and what about Afghanistan? President Reagan was holding back mutual security too, or was he keeping it between them? The deal was done but it sure left a lot of questions in my head as a law student at the time. Then the cement with the former CIA Director George H.W. Bush and the Russian Politburo hierarchy. Ukraine was kept under wraps because who knows, it was reported they had nukes in storage and who knows where some may be hidden where even the United States were not aware of the location. The Ronald Reagan Administration and the Russian negotiators had spent too much time in the sales department...I mean State Department...no, I really meant sales like I wrote the first time.
